Director and Strategic Programmes Consultant
For over 3 decades since founding Innovation my role has been to design, define and assure the delivery of complex business change and development programmes.
Innovation was founded on the back of Big Bang in the City. I had been working in the project office of The London Stock Exchange (LSE) to provide solutions for aggregating programme status information across a large number of projects to optimise resourcing. As the project office team began to be reduced I formed the idea of starting up a specialist project management consultancy. There was a pool of fantastic project management experience sitting right next to me and I knew how good they were. I recruited a number of my colleagues as they left the LSE and Innovation was formed in 1987.
Since that time I have been involved in defining and managing many projects for a large number of clients. My passion is client success. The delivery of the business benefits is paramount but along the way I have been able to mentor and develop the change management skills of the people I have worked alongside.
I have operated as a Programme Architect with 30 years plus experience of setting up projects to succeed and retrieving projects that are going off the rails.
I have been a strategic advisor on development portfolios and major long term programmes for companies in a wide range of business sectors including:
Allianz. Barclays Bank, London Stock Exchange, William Mercer, Nationwide, RBS, Prudential, SWIFT, Towers Watson, Zurich
Alstom, Bae Systems, British Energy, Doosan Babcock, Miller Group, Scottish Power, Shell, Schlumberger, Southern Water, South Staffordshire Water, VA Tech
Bauer Media, Cable & Wireless, EMAP, Harper Collins, Reed-Elsevier, RS Components, Software AG.
